WJM Deepens 5S Management Awareness to Drive Cost Reduction, Efficiency, and Quality Improvement
On April 10, 2026, from 16:30 to 17:30, WJM’s HR and Administration Department organized an internal training session themed “Deepening 5S Management Awareness.” The session was conducted by watching benchmark 5S management videos from other companies, helping employees gain deeper insights into the core principles and practical value of 5S.
During the training, participants systematically reviewed the fundamentals of 5S management—Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain—and analyzed best practices in on-site management, process optimization, and execution standards adopted by leading companies. Through observation and discussion, employees further recognized that 5S is not just a basic management tool, but also a key driver for achieving refined and efficient operations.
The training emphasized that the true purpose of 5S is to
reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance quality, rather than focusing on superficial cleanliness or falling into formalistic routines. Only by fully integrating 5S principles into daily workflows, continuously optimizing details, and standardizing operations, can organizations effectively minimize waste, boost productivity, and ensure consistent product quality.
This session significantly strengthened the HR and Administration team’s understanding of 5S management and laid a solid foundation for promoting higher standards of 5S implementation across the company. Moving forward, WJM will continue to enhance lean management training and practical application, driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency and overall management excellence.
