WJM Conducts Fire Safety Training to Strengthen Risk Prevention and Emergency Response
On April 29, 2026, at 15:00, WJM’s Business and Purchasing Departments jointly organized a fire safety training session in the company’s meeting room. The session was hosted by Business Manager Alan Wang, who delivered a comprehensive presentation combining theoretical knowledge with real-life case studies to enhance employees’ safety awareness and emergency response capabilities.
During the theoretical session, Alan Wang systematically explained four key aspects of fire safety. These included the identification and causes of common types of fires, the proper use of different fire extinguishers, essential fire escape techniques, and post-fire warning and response mechanisms. The structured approach helped participants build a well-rounded understanding of fire prevention and emergency handling.
In the case study segment, three real fire incidents experienced by WJM over its more than 20 years of operation were reviewed in detail:
The first incident occurred in the packaging warehouse, where a cable fire broke out due to electrical issues. The team immediately implemented the critical step of cutting off the power supply to prevent the spread of the fire. A dry powder fire extinguisher was then used to extinguish the flames effectively, despite the absence of a carbon dioxide extinguisher at the time. This case highlighted the importance of correct and timely emergency actions.

The second incident took place in the spray coating workshop, where a production line malfunction caused a fire within the equipment. Fortunately, electricians were working in a nearby workshop and promptly assisted by removing jammed products from the conveyor system, successfully controlling the situation. Following the incident, the company discontinued the use of a material known as “Tianda Water,” which posed a higher risk of explosive hazards, thereby eliminating a significant safety risk at the source.
The third incident occurred in the employee dormitory. In response, several staff members quickly formed a temporary emergency team, accessed the fire hydrant, and used fire hoses to suppress the flames. Simultaneously, they reported the fire to emergency services without delay. Their coordinated and timely response demonstrated strong teamwork and a high level of responsibility.
By integrating theory with real-life experience, this training provided employees with a more practical and in-depth understanding of fire safety. WJM emphasized that it will continue to strengthen its safety management system and conduct regular training and drills to ensure that safety awareness is embedded in every aspect of its operations, supporting the company’s sustainable and stable development.
